HUB TMS grew out of 20 years in freight—working the brokerage desk, running a business, managing a fleet, and handling the accounting, maintenance, and repairs that keep trucks moving.
Our founder started studying software engineering in college before leaving to work at a freight brokerage. That led to starting a brokerage of their own, then opening a trucking company.
Along the way, one frustration kept coming up: the software didn’t fit the work. After trying numerous TMS platforms, there were still gaps between how the systems were designed and what running a brokerage and fleet demanded every day.
So we decided to build our own.
We built HUB TMS from inside the industry, not by looking in from the outside. The daily challenges are ones we’ve faced ourselves. Our goal is simple: make the tools fit the people doing the work, not the other way around.
